Common chives

Perennial. 30 cm high. Vigorous-growing chives. The purple flowers are edible. Hardiness zone 2.

Full sun to part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Direct sowing in May-June or indoor sowing 5-10 weeks before last frost. 1cm deep. 10 cm between plants. Harvest from^2nd year.

Germination: 78% in November 2024
