Description
African foxglove
Ceratotheca triloba
Annual. Small lilac colored bells on stems from 1.50 to 2 meters high. Does not require support. Blooms from the end of July until frost. Very appreciated by hummingbirds. Native to South Africa.
Full sun, part shade. Well drained soil. Sow indoors in mid-April and transplant when there is no longer a risk of frost. 6 mm deep. Germination in 7-10 days at 25 ºC.
Germination: 70% in November 2023
