Criolla De Cocina sweet pepper
Capsicum annuum
Red sweet pepper (green turning red when ripe). 7 to 12 cm long, thin flesh, fruity flavor. Very good for eating fresh, freezes well. Also makes an excellent paprika. Productive plant, 50 to 75 cm tall. Originally from Nicaragua. Criolla De Cocina means Creole cuisine. 65 days to maturity.
Full sun, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Sow indoors early March, 6 mm deep. Transplantation after last frost. 40 cm between plants.
Germination: 97% in November 2023
