Grandma Dinel Bean
Phaseolus vulgaris
Pole bean, need a 2-meter stake. Black grain, excellent fresh shell or dry. It is also a yellow-podded edible snap, fleshy and tasty if harvested small. Harvest every day as it develops a string quickly. A beautiful variety from Quebec’s heritage, grown in the Outaouais region by Maximilienne Corbeil Dinel.
Sow directly outdoors after any risk of frost. 2 cm deep and 15 cm apart.
Germination: 98% in November 2024
