Squash Mini Musquee de Provence
Cucurbita moschata

Musk squash. A smaller version of the Musquee de Provence. 4 to 7 pounds, sometimes more. Green, turning orange-brown at maturity, covered with a whitish glaze. Bright orange flesh, velvety and non-starchy. Very good flavor. Naturally marbled silvery-white foliage. Runner variety, creeping stem of 2 meters and more. 3 squashes per plant. Excellent shelf life. Native to southern France. Also known as Mini Musk. 110 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 2 to 5 weeks before. Protect young plants from insects. 2 cm deep. 60 cm between plants.
