Mustard mix
Brassica juncea
Annual. A colorful mix of oriental mustards. Spicy flavor. Use the young leaves for sandwiches, soups, stir-fries or pestos. When roasted, the seeds have a nutty flavor. They can be used as a spice in marinades, or to make mustard. Re-seeds itself. Also called brown mustards, Indian mustards or Chinese mustards.
Direct sowing in May, June. Sow in August for autumn production. 6 mm deep and 15 cm apart.
Germination: 78% in December 2025
