Description

Painted sage
Salvia horminum (syn. s. viridis)

Annual. Bushy plant from 30 to 80 cm high. Wands of small melliferous flowers surrounded by purple, sometimes pink or white bracts.

Full sun, part shade, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 6 to 8 weeks before. Sow on the surface. 30 cm between plants.

Germination: 75% in November 2023
