Bean Sequoia
Phaseolus vulgaris

Bush mauve romano bean. 10 to 12 cm long, fleshy and tasty. Turns green when cooked. Productive plant, 50 to 60 cm tall. Also makes an excellent fresh shell or dry bean.

Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 10 days before. 2 cm deep. 15 cm between plants.

Germination: 98% in December 2025
