Soybean Galaxy<\/strong>

Soybean with small brown grains streaked with black. 4-foot-tall plant requiring support. By far our most productive soybean, and the latest too. A very rare variety originating from Russia, kept by the US Department of Agriculture’s Genetic Resources Information Network<\/a> under the number PI437332 and the name DV 2371. The seeds come from Tamara Clement, Ontario(Heritage Hobby Seed Ark<\/a>), a very active member of Seeds of Diversity<\/a>. She’s the one who gave it the name Galaxy, which suits it so well. 120 days (edamame), +140 days (dry).<\/p>\n

Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost. Or sow indoors 10 days before. 2 cm deep. 30 cm between plants.<\/p>\n

Germination: 96% in December 2025<\/strong>
