\nEruca vesicaria var. sativa<\/em><\/p>\n

Annual. 25 cm high and 60 cm with flower stems. The leaves are used fresh in salads or cooked like spinach. The flowers are edible and the seeds are used as a condiment. Peppery flavour reminiscent of hazelnuts.<\/p>\n

Arugula prefers full sun, but tolerates shade quite well. A shady spot will help slow down bolting. Humus-rich soil. Mulch recommended. Direct sowing 6 mm deep, May to September. 15 cm between plants. Successive sowings every 3 weeks.<\/p>\n

Germination: 98% in November 2025<\/strong>
