Tomato Brown Berry chocolate
Solanum lycopersicum

Splendid black cherry tomato, round, 3 cm. Very good flavor. Vigorous, productive plant, over 1.50 metres tall. Indeterminate. 70 days to maturity.

Full sun, rich, well-drained soil. Sow indoors from late March to mid-April. 5 mm deep. Transplantation after last frost. 50 cm between plants.

Earlier than Black Cherry, perhaps also a little more productive. This is an easy variety that gardeners without a green thumb can grow without worrying. The plants adapt to different conditions and produce despite stress. Since 2005, it has sometimes been in flooded soil, sometimes in total drought all summer long; it has also experienced poor, acidic sand, pots that were too narrow, poor supports, shade too… And I’ve always been surprised that it produces so well!
