Perennial. Single yellow, orange and mahogany flowers. 90 cm to 1.20 meter high. Blooms from the end of July until frost. Nectariferous plant of interest to butterflies. Blooms the first year. Re-seeds itself. Hardiness Zone 3.

Full sun, part shade. Well-drained soil, rich or poor. Indoor sowing mid-April or direct sowing in May. 1mm deep. 25 cm between plants.

Germination: 70% in March 2026
