Note
This is the earliest of our snow peas. Harvest starts early and it produces for a long time.
We found the Ambrosia pea at Deaflora in 2024. This beautiful variety is available from almost every seed company in Europe. As good as a snow or a shelling pea, and renowned for its sweet taste… We had no choice but to try it! The beauty of this pea is its non-uniformity: each plant is a different height, without ever exceeding our 4-foot stakes. And the very uneven ripening of the pods means that it will produce for a long time. Perfect for a small family garden. And it’s true that the more mature peas are still very tasty and sweet, like shelling peas.
