Anise Hyssop Snow Spike
Agastache foeniculum

Perennial. 80 cm to 1.20 m high. Fragrant white flowers. Attracts bees, bumblebees, butterflies, hoverflies and hummingbirds. Leaves and flowers are used as a condiment or herbal tea. Minty licorice flavor that varies slightly from plant to plant. Re-seeds itself, but is not invasive. Flowers easily the first year when sown indoors. Hardiness zone 4.

Full sun, well drained soil. Indoor sowing 6 to 10 weeks before last frost or direct sowing in June. Sow on the surface. 30 cm between plants.
