Lobelia erinus

Annual. Small, purplish-blue flowers. 15 cm high and 30 cm wide, perfect for borders and hanging baskets. Very long flowering period from June to September. Native to Africa.

Full sun, part shade or shade. Well-drained, moist, rich soil. Sow indoors 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Sow on the surface. Mixing fine seeds with sand can make sowing easier. 20 cm between plants.

Germination: 75% in December 2025
