Anise Hyssop
Agastache foeniculum

Perennial. Small mauve flowers. Attracts bees, bumblebees, butterflies, hoverflies and hummingbirds. Leaves and flowers can be used as a condiment or herbal tea. Sweet anise flavor. 80 cm to 1.20 m tall. Does not need staking. Re-seeds itself, but is not invasive. Hardiness zone 2.

Full sun to part shade, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 6 to 10 weeks before. Sow on the surface. 30 cm between plants.
