Beta vulgaris

Yellow beet. Excellent sweetness. Does not stain. Precocious. Harvest small or larger.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing from 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Sowing possible until early July (in zone 4). 1 cm deep. 15 cm between plants. Thin out after germination. 55-100 days.

Germination: 80% in December 2025
