Borago officinalis

Annual. 60 cm tall plant. Blue flowers. Flowering in August and September. Excellent nectar-bearing plant. Re-seeds itself.

Full sun to part shade. Moist, well-drained soil, poor or rich. Sow indoors in April and transplant when there is no longer any risk of frost. Direct sowing in May-June or autumn. 5mm deep. 35 cm between plants.

Germination: 98% in December 2025
