Bean Carminat
Phaseolus vulgaris

Round, fleshy, stringless, mauve-coloured pole bean. Very good flavor. Harvest between 18 and 20 cm. Turns green when cooked. The purple-green foliage is ornamental. Need a 2-meter support. Very productive. 65 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 10 days before. 2 cm deep. 15 cm between plants.

Germination: 99% in December 2025
