Collard Utopian Ultracross
Brassica oleracea acephala

Non-heading cabbage. Sweeter flavor than kale. Up to 80 cm tall. Tolerates cold well. Well adapted to aeroponics. Also known as Collard or Portugal cabbage. Ultracross is a landrace collard from The Heirloom Collard Project.

Full sun, part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Indoor sowing 1 to 6 weeks before transplanting. Transplant or direct sowing 3 to 4 weeks before last frost. 6 mm deep. 10 to 30 cm between plants. 6 mm deep. 60 days to maturity.
