Early Warwick bean
Phaseolus vulgaris
Bush dry bean. Compact, productive and early plant, 40 cm tall. Dark red bean mottled with beige. Can also be harvested young as a snack. A heirloom variety from Warwick, England. Very rare. 75 days to maturity.
Sow directly outdoors in early June at 2 cm depth and 20 cm apart.
Germination: 99% in November 2023
Ecological seeds produced at Catherine’s Ornamental Garden.
