Great lobelia
Lobelia siphilitica

Perennial. Little blue flower. Up to 1.20 meters high. Does not need a tutor. Makes beautiful cut flowers. Re-seeds itself. Native to North America. Also known as Blue cardinal flower. Hardiness zone 4.

Full sun to part shade. Moist to very moist soil, but tolerates well-drained, dry soil very well. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 6 to 10 weeks before. Sow on the surface. 30 cm between plants.
