Lavatera Pink Blush
Lavatera trimestris

Annual. Large, 10 cm-diameter flowers, white with pink-veined centers. Intense blooming from late July to September. Compact, shrubby plants 60 to 80 cm tall. Excellent cut flowers. Can be grown in containers.

Full sun, part shade. Well drained soil. Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost. 6 mm deep. 50 cm between plants. Germinates in 5 to 20 days at 21°C. Scarification with sandpaper and/or soaking seeds in warm water for 24 hours will improve germination.
