Maskabec tomato
Solanum lycopersicum

Beautiful, juicy red tomato, round shape, 5 to 7 cm in diameter. Very good flavor. Resistant to cracking. Very productive, 1-meter-high plant. Developed in 1974 by Roger Doucet at the Saint-Hyacinthe Agricultural Research Station (Quebec). Determinate. 55 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors from late March to mid-April, 5 mm deep. Transplantation after last frost. 50 cm between plants.

Germination: 87% in November 2023
