Radish Misato Rose
Raphanus sativus

Superb round winter radish, 7 to 12 cm in diameter. White with green or pink collar and dark pink heart. Very good raw or cooked. Use young leaves like spinach. Grows in late summer for an autumn harvest. Keeps for a long time in cold storage. Native to China. 60 days to maturity.

Full sun to part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Direct sowing in mid-July for harvesting in September and October. 1 cm deep. 20 cm between plants.
