Pea Large Manitoba
Pisum sativum var. medullare

Shelling pea. Large, plump, sweet green pea. Huge pod, 10 to 12 cm long. Dwarf plant, 60 to 75 cm tall. Suitable for container gardening. Need staking.

Full sun, part shade. Well drained soil. Direct sowing from 5 weeks before last frost. 2 cm deep and 10 cm apart. 60 days to maturity.

Germination: 98% in December 2025
