Description
Kentucky Blue bean
Phaseolus vulgaris
Green, round and fleshy pole bean, 15-18 cm long. Stringless, juicy and very tasty. Needs a 2.50 meter support. Early and very productive. Also very good when harvested as a shell bean. From a cross between Bush Blue Lake and Kentucky Wonder. 1991 All-America selection winner (AAS). 55 days to maturity.
Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing at the beginning of June. 2 cm deep. 15 cm between plants.
Germination: 95% in December 2024
