Giovanni bean
Phaseolus vulgaris
Romano-type pole beans, green, stringless, very good flavor. Harvest between 15 and 24 cm in length. Needs a 2.50 meter support. The large, white beans are excellent fresh shell. Very productive. Seeds brought back from Italy over 60 years ago by an Italian and grown in Quebec ever since.
Sow directly outdoors in early June at 2 cm depth and 15 cm apart.
Germination: 97% in November 2023
