Pisum sativum

Dwarf shelling pea. Small plant, 40 cm high. Very early. Perfect for growing in containers. Can be grown indoors. Keep the empty pods to make broth. A heirloom variety originating in England and cultivated in the United States since 1854. 50 days.

Full sun to part shade. Direct sowing from May to July. 2 cm deep and 5 cm apart.

Germination: 99% in December 2025
