Hot pepper Criolla Sella (Aji Criolla Sella)
Capsicum baccatum
Small hot pepper. Green turning orange. 4 to 5 cm long. Thin flesh. Fruity flavor. Heat rating of 7 on the Scoville scale. Plant height 90 cm. Productive. An early variety, well adapted to hardiness zone 4. Native of Bolivia. 80 days.
Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors 8 to 12 weeks before the last frost. Transplant when temperature is above 10°C. 6 mm deep. 40 cm between plants. Germinates in 7 to 10 days at 28-30°C.
Germination: 74% in December 2025
