Tobacco Virginia Gold
Nicotiana tabacum

Annual. Blond tobacco for smoking. 1.50 meters high and more. Pink flowers with pollen much appreciated by bees and other pollinators. Flowering in August and September.

Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors in mid-March and transplant when there is no longer any risk of frost and the soil has warmed up. Protect young plants from wind at the beginning of the season. Sow on the surface: seeds need light to germinate. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 70% en novembre 2025
