Tithonia Mexican Yellow Torch
Tithonia rotundifolia

Annual. Also known as Mexican Sun. Yellow flowers. Up to 2 meters tall. Long flowering season from July to September. Nectariferous plant for butterflies, bees, bumblebees and hummingbirds.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Sow indoors 4 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Transplant when temperature is above 10°C. 6 mm deep. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 81% in November 2025
