Zinnia elegans

Annual. Large, creamy-yellow flowers, single or double. With occasional darker flowers. 70 cm to 1.20 m high. Makes beautiful cut flowers. A nectar-bearing plant loved by bees, bumblebees and butterflies.

Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 6 to 8 weeks before. 1 cm deep. 30 cm between plants.

Germination: 89% in December 2025
