Anethum graveolens

Annual. A compact, flavorful dill variety. Well-suited to growing in pots, indoors and hydroponically. The leaves can be used fresh, frozen or dried. 5 to 8 weeks after sowing, cut it back to 3 cm from the base and it will grow back. The yellow flower umbels and seeds are also very interesting as a condiment. Long flowering season, much appreciated by pollinators, up to 1.20 meter high. 45 days to maturity (leaves), +95 days (seeds).

Full sun, part shade. Well drained and rich soil. Sow directly outdoors after the last frost. Successive sowings every 3 weeks to prolong harvest. 5 mm deep. 10-20 cm between plants.

Germination: 77% in January 2025
