Campanula glomerata
Perennial. Small, violet-blue flowers that are very popular with pollinating insects. Blooms from mid-June to late July. Edible leaves and flowers. 50 to 70 cm high. Also known as Dane’s Blood. Native to Europe. Hardiness Zone 3.
Full sun, part shade. Very well drained soil. Direct sowing in summer or indoor sowing 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Sow on the surface. 20 cm between plants.
Germination: 75% in December 2025
