Note
The original Candy Cane is a hybrid sweet red pepper with variegated leaves. Some growers have been working to stabilize it over the last few years, but it’s not yet totally stable. Our original seeds come from Deaflora in Germany. All our plants were variegated, with the vast majority producing red peppers, and only a few producing orange peppers. We only sell seeds harvested from red peppers, but through genetics or unintentional crossing, some seeds could give orange peppers.
