Bean Pellegrini
Phaseolus vulgaris
Dry bean. Climbing plant. Requires 2-meter support. Gray-brown seeds with white flecks, excellent dry or semi-dry. Flattened yellow pods are delicious and stringless when harvested young. An ancient variety from Italy, cultivated for over 40 years by Angelo Pellegrini. Also known as Monachine (Little sister).
Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 10 days before. 2 cm deep. 15 cm between plants.
Germination: 99% in December 2025
