Black Turtle bean
Phaseolus vulgaris

Half-runner dry bean. Delicious small black beans. Harvest fresh shell or dry. 55 cm high. Sometimes a little climbing, depending on growing conditions. Vigorous and productive. Very old variety originating from the south of Mexico and Central America. 80 days to maturity.

Sow directly outdoors in mid-June at 2 cm depth and 15 cm apart.

Germination: 99% in November 2023
