Beta Vulgaris

A variety of small, dark-red, 4-7 cm round beets. Ideal for summer crops and pickled beets. Very early and well adapted to small spaces and container growing. Good sweet flavor. 40-60 days to maturity.

Full sun, well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing from 4 weeks before last frost. Sowing possible until the end of July (hardiness zone 4). 1 cm deep. 8 cm between plants. Thin out after germination.

Germination: 79% in December 2025
