Zinnia elegans

Annual. Huge double flowers of 10 to 15 cm in diameter, fuchsia, yellow, orange, pink or red. 90 cm to 1.20 meter high. May need staking. Makes beautiful cut flowers. Very nectariferous plant that bees, bumblebees and butterflies love.

Full sun, well drained soil. Sow indoors in early May. Direct sowing or transplanting when there is no longer a risk of frost. 1 cm deep. 30 cm between plants.

Germination: 70% in December 2025
