Chinese aster mix
Callistephus chinensis

Annual. 40 to 90 cm high. Single flowers, 4 to 7 cm in diameter, pale pink, dark pink, white or mauve. Excellent cut flower. Very long flowering from July to September. Plants usually need no support. Also called annual aster.

Full sun to part shade. Well drained soil. Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost. Sow at a depth of 2 mm. 30 cm between plants. Germination 7-15 days at 18°C.
