Note
Summer 2016 favorite. I had heard of this French tomato, described as early and very tasty. I searched for seeds for 3 years and finally found some at Nathalie Antaya (Le Jardin de Nathalie). Grow outdoors without pruning, a 4-foot support is sufficient. In the greenhouse and pruned, the plants can grow higher, but will never be as tall as other indeterminates. Harvest begins quietly in early July and finishes late in September. We eat it straight from the garden, no need to add salt: it’s a tomato with a good salty flavor. It’s also great for soups, juices and dehydration.
