Eggplant Jewel Amethyst
Solanum melongena

Mini purple eggplants, oval-shaped, to harvest between 7 and 10 cm long. Good flavor, few seeds. Very early. Small, compact plants, 50 cm high, well suited to container culture. Prolific, more than 25 fruits per plant. Native to the USA. 60 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors 10 to 14 weeks before the last frost. Transplant when temperature is above 10°C. Requires heat for germination, ±30 °C. 6 mm deep. 60 cm between plants.

Germination: 95% in November 2025
