Description
Flämische Riesen Schnàbel pea
Pisum sativum var. vulgare
Yellow soup peas. Also makes a very good buttery flavored shelling pea. Need a 1.50 meter high support. Very rare variety obtained by Will Bonsall in 2018. The name means ‘Flemish Giant Beak’, the pods are curved like a bird’s beak.
Direct sowing at the beginning of May. 2 cm deep and 10 cm apart. 90 days to maturity.
Germination: 98% in December 2024
