Soybean Hakucho
Glycine max

Soybean with large green grains. An excellent edamame with a sweet flavor and creamy texture. The ripening is uniform, perfect for harvesting at once, ideal for freezing. Compact and productive plant of 50 cm height. No staking needed. Native to Japan, cultivated in North America since 1917. 85 days to maturity (edamame) and +105 days (dry).

Full sun and well-drained soil. Direct sowing from mid-May to mid-June. 2 cm deep and 30 cm apart.

Germination: 98% in December 2025
