Moldavian dragonhead
Dracocephalum moldavicum

Annual. Aromatic and medicinal plant. Blue-violet flowers very appreciated by bees, 40 to 60 cm high. Lemon licorice scent. Use the dried leaves in herbal teas. Also called Moldavian Balm, Blue Dragonhead and Melissa. Re-seeds itself.

Full sun, well drained soil. Direct sowing from mid-May to mid-June. Sow on the surface. 25 cm distance.

Germination: 84% in November 2023
