Osteospermum hyoseroides
Annual. 60 cm tall plant. Small, bright orange flowers with black centers. Intense bloom in July and August. The petals turn back in warm weather. Very easy to grow. Succeeds well in pots. Attracts bees and butterflies. Native to South Africa.
Full sun. Well drained soil. Not demanding. Tolerates poor, dry soil. Indoor sowing in April or direct sowing after risk of frost. Sow on the surface. 30 cm between plants.
Germination: 84% in November 2024
