Petit Moineau tomato
Solanum pimpinellifolium

Small red currant tomato, 1.5 cm in diameter. Intense flavor. Perfect for snacking in the garden. Very productive. 1,50 meter high and more. Good resistance to diseases, including tomato leaf mold. Was cultivated in the Chateauguay region of Quebec in the 1950’s. Indeterminate. 65 days to maturity.

Full sun, well drained and rich soil. Sow indoors from late March to mid-April. 5 mm deep. Transplantation when there is no longer a risk of frost. 50 cm between plants.

Germination: 93% in November 2023
