Long, slender Japanese cucumber with very few seeds. Very good fresh or marinated. Vigorous plants that climb easily. The name in Japanese means “Japanese three feet long”, but it’s rarely more than 2 feet long…
Full sun. Well-drained, rich soil. Direct sowing after the last frost or indoor sowing 2 to 5 weeks before. Protect young plants from insects at the beggining of the season. 1.5 cm deep. 40 cm between plants. 65 days to maturity.
Germination: 85% in November 2025
