Tobacco Sensation mix
Nicotiana alata

Annual. Very fragrant ornamental tobacco. Mixture of mauve, pink or white flowers. Melliferous, bees, bumblebees and butterflies love it. 1.40 metre high.

Full sun, well-drained soil, rich or poor. Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost. Transplant when temperature is above 10°C. Protect young plants from wind at the beginning of the season. Sow on the surface: seeds need light to germinate. 30 cm between plants. Re-seeds itself. Early, also works with direct seeding.
